The Thorpe Bay Clinic is a multidisciplinary complementary Health Clinic serving Thorpe Bay, Southchurch, Great Wakering, Barling and Shoeburyness. Although conveniently located to the railway station and bus routes in Thorpe Bay shopping parade many patients visit from further a field. Founded by Matthew Voigts in 1992,  during 2017 the location was changed to a ground floor premises to  incorporate V Health Store.  Thorpe Bay the clinic prides itself on providing a high quality service across all the well respected therapies it offers.

ABOUT MATTHEW VOIGTS

Matthew Voigts has over 30 years clinical experience as an osteopath qualifying from the British School of Osteopathy in 1987.He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
He also has over 20 years clinical experience as a traditional acupuncture practitioner qualifying from the British College of Acupuncture in 1995 and was mentored by Dr Chen, Chief Chest consultant Beijing Hospital for 5 years and Dr Jia for a further 3 years. He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.

He has a particular interest in the treatment of the upper cervical spine and studied a revolutionary technique called Atlasprofilax 8 years ago. This technique utilises vibropressure to correct upper cervical dysfunction. He served on the International Board for the International Association of Qualified Atlasprofilax practitioners for 5 years and has written medical articles on this subject. He recently founded the Atlas Zone to further the scientific approach of vibrational treatment of the upper cervical spine and many medical professionals from around the world are joining him in this endeavour.

Over the last few years he has researched and worked to create a unique approach  utilising vibrational technology as a full body approach to treatment. www.atlaszone.org and now www.vibrozone.com have been founded not only as a platform for patients but as training organisations to spread these wellbeing treatments.
